HM-(II) type palladium catalyst

HM-(II) type palladium catalyst

The HM-(II) type is a supported noble metal palladium-based catalyst. It is primarily used for oxygen removal via hydrogenation and, under specific conditions, eliminates the excess hydrogen or oxygen from the hydrogen-oxygen compound ratio. It is suitable for the magnetic materials industry, where it removes oxygen from nitrogen via hydrogenation while simultaneously eliminating excess hydrogen. The greatest advantages of this catalyst in application are as follows: 1.Excellent purification effect; 2.Reducing the catalyst input by half by replacing the double-tower with a single tower; 3.Simplified equipment; 4.Capable of continuous operation without the need for regeneration.

Keyword:

Gas purification catalyst, deoxidizer, dehydrogenation agent

Deoxidation And Dehydrogenation Catalyst

Product Details

THM-(II) is a supported noble metal palladium-based catalyst. It is primarily used for deoxygenation by hydrogenation, and under specific conditions, for removing excess hydrogen or oxygen resulting from an imbalanced hydrogen-oxygen stoichiometric ratio. It is suitable for the magnetic materials industry, for nitrogen hydrogenation deoxygenation while simultaneously eliminating excess hydrogen (or oxygen).
The main advantages of this catalyst application are:
1. Excellent purification performance;
2. Reduction from two towers to one tower, cutting catalyst investment in half;
3. Simplified equipment;
4. Continuous gas supply during both oxidation and reduction processes, enabling uninterrupted operation.

Operating conditions and parameters:
Bed height-to-diameter ratio:3~5
Operating temperature:180~250℃
Operating space velocity:3000~4000hr-1
Working pressure:≤20Mpa
Particle shape:spherical,∮2~6mm
Mechanical strength:≥80N/pellet
Bulk density:1.05g/ml
Residual hydrogen (oxygen) after purification:≤0.5ppm
Service life:≥3 years

Operating Instructions:

This purification process is a catalytic reaction process, and the catalyst requires no pretreatment or regeneration.

Load the catalyst into the reactor, and spread a layer of inert ceramic balls approximately 20cm thick evenly over the catalytic bed.

The gas flows from top to bottom. Introduce the gas to be purified at a space velocity of approximately 300hr , and turn on the heating power to bring the catalytic bed to approximately 200℃, then hold at this temperature for 30 minutes.

Open the gas supply to full capacity and begin purification operation.
