506HL type deoxygenation catalyst
This catalyst is an activated alumina-supported noble metal (palladium) catalyst. It is primarily used for catalytic removal of oxygen from hydrogen and hydrogen-containing gas mixtures, and is also widely used for hydrogenation deoxygenation of inert gases such as nitrogen, or for oxygenation removal of hydrogen.

Product Details
This catalyst is an activated alumina-supported noble metal (palladium) catalyst. It is primarily used for catalytic removal of oxygen from hydrogen and hydrogen-containing gas mixtures, and is also widely used for hydrogenation deoxygenation of inert gases such as nitrogen, or for oxygenation removal of hydrogen.
Conditions of use and parameters:
Bed height-to-diameter ratio:3~5
Operating temperature:room temperature (heating is preferred)
Operating space velocity:≤5000hr-1
Working pressure:≤20Mpa
Particle shape:∮2~5mm
Mechanical strength:≥80N/pellet
Bulk density:0.7~0.75g/ml
Oxygen conversion in feed gas:<4%
Residual oxygen (hydrogen) after purification:≤1ppm
Service life:≥3 years
Instructions for Use:
1. Fill the upper part of the catalytic tower with 20cm high inert alumina ceramic balls.
2. The gas flows through the catalytic tower from top to bottom.
3. Load the 506HL catalyst uniformly into the reactor, and purge the air from the system with nitrogen.
4. Introduce the gas to be purified, and the system is ready for operation.
5. After a period of use, if the deoxygenation performance of the catalyst declines or it becomes ineffective due to water immersion, heat the catalyst to approximately 200℃ in a hydrogen or inert atmosphere for dehydration treatment. When no more water vapor is detected at the outlet, the dehydration process is complete and the catalyst can be reused. If the catalyst is contaminated by alkali or oil, the above treatment method will be ineffective; if necessary, contact the supplier.
6. The operating temperature must not exceed 450℃.
7. The catalyst should be protected from contact with chlorides, sulfides, and other substances to prevent poisoning and deactivation.
※ Note:
If the oxygen content of the feed gas is below 0.4%, it is recommended to operate the catalyst at an elevated temperature of approximately 100℃.
