On December 25th, the Infrastructure Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission released an article titled "Accelerating the Construction of a Modern Infrastructure System", proposing multiple measures.

In terms of optimizing the supply structure, the transportation sector will activate existing facility resources, improve incremental construction efficiency, implement modern maintenance projects, optimize passenger services, promote cost reduction and quality improvement in transportation logistics, promote the construction of zero carbon transportation corridors and stations, and promote clean energy equipment. Continuously increasing the proportion of new energy supply in the energy sector, building a new type of power system, accelerating the construction of a new energy supply and consumption system, improving energy supply stability, and actively and orderly developing nuclear power. The focus is on promoting the national green hydrogen ammonia alcohol planning and layout, with applications such as grey hydrogen substitution and green ship combustion as the driving force.
In terms of strengthening integration and fusion, the transportation sector promotes the integration of various transportation modes, develops integrated transfer and comprehensive passenger transport hubs, improves the collection and distribution system, reasonably utilizes facility space to construct related facilities, and promotes the digital transformation of existing facilities. The energy sector supports the development and consumption of new energy rich areas nearby, forming a multi energy complementary pattern, encouraging the coordinated construction of national computing power hubs and clean energy bases, accelerating the innovative development of green power parks, promoting the iteration of new energy generation technology and the research and application of power grid technology, and increasing the research and development efforts in long-term energy storage, green power hydrogen production of ammonia and alcohol, nuclear fusion and other technologies.
