Green Hydrogen and Other Energy Projects Included in the 15th Five-Year Plan's 109 Major Project List

This was announced during the two sessions, with the list covering six key areas. Among them, over 20 items in the energy sector fall under four main aspects: In terms of leading the development of new quality productive forces, the cultivation of new industries and new tracks such as green hydrogen is included; in the construction of a modern infrastructure system, major hydropower projects and integrated hydro-wind-solar power bases are part of the new energy system development; in promoting green and low-carbon transformation, energy conservation and carbon reduction in key industries are emphasized; and in ensuring security in key areas, oil and gas exploration and development are covered. These projects set directions and provide action guidelines for central enterprises such as China Energy Engineering Corporation to anchor their missions and fulfill their responsibilities.
