The Carbon Neutrality and Green Development Conference was held in Beijing

Recently, the Carbon Neutrality and Green Development Conference, guided by China Certification & Inspection (Group) Co., Ltd. and China Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion Association, and hosted by China Quality Certification Center, was held in Beijing. The conference aimed to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, learn and comprehend the spirit and decision-making deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference, and help China actively and steadily advance carbon peak and carbon neutrality, accelerate the creation of a green and low-carbon supply chain, and achieve green and low-carbon high-quality development in the industry.
The conference brought together representatives from government, business, research institutions, and other parties to jointly explore new concepts, models, and technologies for carbon neutrality and green development. All participants agreed that achieving carbon neutrality goals requires the joint efforts of the whole society, including the government, businesses, and the public. Only by strengthening cooperation and working together can we achieve greater results in promoting green and low-carbon development.
As the "national team" in China's TIC industry, the China Quality Certification Center will continue to play a leading role as a model organization, focus on creating a high-quality exchange platform that integrates knowledge, development, service, harmony, and cooperation, and provide professional services for the "dual carbon" industry chain in various industries to help China achieve its carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
In addition, the conference also held three parallel sub-forums on "Achievements and Innovations in Dual Carbon Development," "Innovation and Development of the New Energy Industry in the Context of Dual Carbon," and "Green and Low-Carbon Innovation and Development of the Real Estate and Construction Industries under the New Situation." Experts and scholars from institutions such as the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation and the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission shared and discussed hot topics such as low-carbon and green development under the "dual carbon" goal from perspectives of policy, scientific research, industry, academics, and applications.
Witnessed by leaders and guests, the establishment ceremony of the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion Association and the launch ceremony of the Xi'an City Wall Spring Festival Lantern Show Carbon Neutrality + Large Heritage Site Protection Area Green and Low-Carbon Project Research were successfully completed. In addition, the conference also held three parallel sub-forums, inviting leaders and experts from the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Central University of Finance and Economics, Sinopec, State Grid and other units to share and exchange hot topics such as low-carbon and green development under the "dual carbon" goal from policy, scientific research, industry, academic, and application perspectives.
As the global climate change issue becomes increasingly severe, China, as a responsible major country, is actively responding to climate change and taking strong measures to promote green and low-carbon development. The successful holding of the Carbon Neutrality and Green Development Conference will further unite the efforts of all parties and promote China to make greater progress in responding to climate change and promoting green and low-carbon development.
