Although dehydrogenation in carbon dioxide gas is a common purification technology, dehydrogenation in carbon dioxide gas containing CO is still a difficult technical problem encountered in industry, and there are few reports in domestic literature. Due to the strong adsorption capacity of CO, when the feed gas passes through the Pd/Al2O3 catalyst bed, CO quickly adsorbs on the catalyst surface. Due to its strong inhibitory effect on catalyst activity, it leads to a significant decrease in catalyst activity. So if carbon dioxide contains CO gas, it cannot achieve the purpose and effect of deep dehydrogenation at room temperature.

Shanxi Coal Chemical Group 26000m ³/ h early 2009, the h carbon dioxide dehydrogenation project purchased a catalyst (Pd/Al2O3) from a certain manufacturer. Due to improper catalyst selection and operational reasons, the purification effect did not meet the target and was completely deactivated six months later. Seriously affecting the production of the enterprise. Afterwards, we contacted our company and purchased the 506HT (Pd/TiO2) catalyst. Technical personnel conducted technical analysis and on-site driving guidance. After debugging and operation, the residual oxygen content was ≤ 1PPM, and the purification indicators have been normal and stable for three years of continuous operation.
