On the morning of March 23rd, the large-scale green hydrogen production project of Xinjiang Junrui Wensu officially started construction in the Wensu Industrial Park. The total investment of this project is 3.08 billion yuan, making it the first large-scale hydrogen energy project in Wensu County, marking a significant breakthrough in the layout of the green energy industry in Wensu County. The project uses renewable energy for power generation, with an annual production of approximately 14400 tons of green hydrogen, which will help optimize the energy structure and promote the development of new energy in Wensu County and even Aksu region. After the project is completed, the application of green hydrogen is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 360000 tons per year, providing strong support for local employment and low-carbon green economic transformation.
Tian Shengjun, General Manager of Xinjiang Junrui Green Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., stated that the company will fully utilize Xinjiang's abundant renewable energy resources, layout the green hydrogen related industry with a "1+N" strategy, and promote the large-scale hydrogen production and diversified development of green electricity. The project will not only drive the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Wensu County, but also serve as a beneficial supplement and expansion to the energy industry cluster in Wensu County, further optimizing the energy industry structure and layout.
