April ushered in a wave of hydrogen energy policies, with six provinces and cities vying to layout the hydrogen energy industry

At the beginning of April, the hydrogen energy industry welcomed a policy spring breeze. From April 1st to 9th, provinces and autonomous regions such as Zhejiang, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Huzhou, Zhengzhou, and Ili have successively issued favorable policies for hydrogen energy, injecting new impetus into the hydrogen energy industry and promoting its accelerated development in a new round.
The National Development and Reform Commission and six other departments jointly issued a document to support Inner Mongolia's exploration of green hydrogen development, improve the infrastructure system such as hydrogen refueling stations, and aim to create a national green hydrogen demonstration zone. Ili has released a medium - and long-term plan for the development of the hydrogen energy industry, making it an important lever for the development of new productive forces and striving to become a model room for hydrogen energy application throughout Xinjiang.
Zhengzhou has issued a development plan for the hydrogen energy industry, established a Zhongyuan hydrogen energy trading platform, and aims to preliminarily build a hydrogen energy industry development ecosystem by 2025. The government of Zhenhai District, Ningbo has issued a new policy on hydrogen energy, proposing to increase the proportion of hydrogen powered sanitation vehicles to over 30% by the end of 2026. Huzhou revised the development plan of hydrogen energy industry to create a "the Taihu Lake Lake hydrogen corridor" with regional influence in the Yangtze River Delta.
Guizhou is promoting the development of hydrogen energy production and environmental storage, and exploring the commercial landing of fuel cells, hydrogen metallurgy, and other industries. The active layout of these provinces and cities will undoubtedly provide strong support for the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry and promote its high-quality development.
