Recently, the Dalian City government released a carbon peak implementation plan, clearly building a demonstration city for high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry and building a complete hydrogen energy industry chain. The plan emphasizes a diversified hydrogen production system, focusing on hydrogen production from renewable energy, combining industrial by-product hydrogen, and exploring innovative models such as "wind-light power generation-electrolysis of water to hydrogen production". At the same time, we will vigorously develop the hydrogen energy equipment industry, break through key technologies, and promote large-scale production of fuel cells and key components.

In the application field, Dalian will promote demonstrations in multiple fields such as hydrogen energy transportation, energy storage, and distributed power generation, including hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen energy ships, and hydrogen energy ports. In addition, it is planned to build a hydrogen energy town and explore new paths for comprehensive application of hydrogen energy.

In order to support industrial development, Dalian will cultivate key key enterprises, build hydrogen energy industry clusters, and promote infrastructure construction, including hydrogen storage and transportation networks and hydrogen refueling station layout. This series of measures aims to build Dalian into a domestic hydrogen energy industry highland and lead the transformation of green energy.
