Among the new products announced in the 388th batch of "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products Announcement", the application of fuel cell products presents many highlights. Among them, China Heavy Duty Truck once again topped the list, achieving three consecutive batches of lead. Chengdu Ace and Jinan Commercial Vehicle have applied for a total of 16 products, accounting for 41%.
In addition, Xiamen Jinlong has become another automobile company that supports self-produced fuel cell systems, marking that the independent research and development and application of fuel cell technology in automobile companies are gradually expanding. At the same time, Sichuan hydrogen energy companies represented by Dongfang Electric, Rongchuang, Xiongchuan, etc. performed well in this batch of applications, further promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry.
In terms of product types, fuel cell heavy trucks have become the main products on the list, with a total of 15 models, plus 11 heavy truck chassis, accounting for 66%. In addition, special vehicles, truck chassis, logistics vehicles and buses are also on the list to varying degrees.
In terms of supporting companies, Dongfang Electric ranks first with the number of supporting companies of 5 models, demonstrating its strong strength in the fuel cell field. Dongfeng Motor, Yuntao Hydrogen Energy and Xiongchuan Xinenergy also followed closely with four models respectively, providing strong support for the development of fuel cell vehicles.
