The National Energy Administration plans to develop two industry standards for PEM electrolysis cells

Recently, the National Energy Administration issued a notice to publicly solicit opinions on the 2024 revision plan for industry standards in the energy sector. Among them, two industry standards for hydrogen energy PEM electrolysis cells are proposed to be formulated, namely the evaluation method for the service life of proton exchange membrane electrolysis cells and the testing method for proton exchange membrane electrolysis water to hydrogen membrane electrodes. A total of 20 projects are planned to be supplemented and approved this time, with a requirement to complete them by the end of 2025. Various sectors of society can provide opinions on the necessity and feasibility of the project proposal, and provide feedback to the Science and Technology Department of the National Energy Administration before December 27, 2024.
