Dengkou Shanyao 1.142 billion hydrogen production project approved, to build 44 electrolytic cells

Recently, news came from the online approval service hall for investment projects in Inner Mongolia that the integrated wind solar hydrogen production project (hydrogen production part) of Dengkou Shanyao Hydrogen Energy New Energy Co., Ltd. has been officially approved for filing. The project was submitted by Dengkou Shanyao Hydrogen New Energy Co., Ltd. and underwent strict review to confirm compliance with industrial policies and market access standards.

It is reported that the project will be located in Ulan Buhe Farm, Dengkou County, Bayannur City, covering an area of 258 acres. The total investment of the project is as high as 1141.8339 million yuan, of which 228.36678 million yuan is self owned funds, and the remaining part will be solved through applying for bank loans. The project is scheduled to commence construction in June 2025 and is expected to be completed by June 2026.

In terms of project construction content, the project will be divided into four functional areas: production equipment area, utility auxiliary production area, front office area, and storage and transportation area. Among them, 44 electrolytic cells with a production capacity of 1000Nm ³/h will be built in the production facility area, equipped with corresponding purification equipment and hydrogen production plants. Infrastructure such as compressed nitrogen stations, laboratories, refrigeration stations, and pressure reduction stations will be built in the auxiliary production area of public works. The storage and transportation area will construct 8 2000m ³ spherical tanks to meet the demand for an annual hydrogen production capacity of 224.488 million Nm ³.
