Xilingol League in Inner Mongolia is laying out the hydrogen ammonia alcohol industry, aiming for a production value target of 3 billion yuan by 2030

On April 9th, the official website of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, released the "Guiding Opinions of Xilingol League on Promoting the Construction of Advantageous and Characteristic Industrial Clusters" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), outlining a grand blueprint for the development of the local hydrogen ammonia alcohol industry.
The Opinion clarifies that Xilingol League will rely on abundant green power resources to vigorously expand the consumption scenarios of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green alcohol, actively attract projects such as green electricity hydrogen production and ammonia alcohol production, and make every effort to build a green electricity hydrogen production and ammonia alcohol industry base. In areas with abundant water resources and convenient transportation, such as Duolun County, green electricity hydrogen production and ammonia alcohol projects are planned and constructed, and a green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green alcohol industrial park is built. At the same time, with the advantage of location, we plan to build the Duolun Chengde hydrogen transmission pipeline, promote the connection to the Kangbao Caofeidian hydrogen transmission pipeline, and achieve long-distance and large-scale transportation of green hydrogen.
In terms of production capacity target, the hydrogen production capacity will reach over 5000 tons by 2025; By 2027, the hydrogen production capacity will increase to over 100000 tons, the ammonia production capacity will reach over 200000 tons, and the alcohol production capacity will reach over 150000 tons; By 2030, the hydrogen production capacity will be about 200000 tons, the ammonia production capacity will exceed 800000 tons, and the alcohol production capacity will reach 300000 tons.
In terms of output value, the target output value of the hydrogen ammonia alcohol industry is 100 million in 2025, 1.8 billion in 2027, and 3 billion in 2030. In addition, Xilingol League will also build energy storage industry clusters and modern equipment manufacturing industry clusters, establish a full hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing industry chain, and promote diversified industrial development.
