Envision AESC French Gigafactory is put into operation, witnessed by Macron and delivered a speech

On June 3rd, Envision AESC, a global leader in battery technology, officially started production at its battery super factory in Douai, France. French President Macron and Envision Group Chairman Zhang Lei attended and witnessed the event.
Envision AESC, with its high-performance battery technology, helped the Renault R5 model win the French electric vehicle sales championship. The commissioning of the Douai Super Factory is of great significance, as it will supply high-quality power batteries for 200000 electric vehicles annually, effectively promoting the acceleration of low-carbon transformation in Europe.
Macron stated in his on-site speech that the Douai Super Factory is a new starting point for France's "re industrialization", a flagship project of "choosing France", and a groundbreaking project that integrates innovation, development, and sustainability in France's green industry transformation. It will change a region and affect a generation. He held a kerosene lamp and a Envision AESC battery from a mining area in northern France, vividly representing that the factory will lead the region from the "old energy era" to the "new power era". Macron also thanked Envision for promoting green development and emphasized that France needs global partners like Envision to work together to drive Europe's energy transition and industrial innovation. Subsequently, he tweeted to refute the statements that "economic growth and sustainability cannot be achieved simultaneously" and "manufacturing batteries in France is impossible", demonstrating France's firm determination to move forward.
Zhang Lei stated that the production of French factories has accelerated the electrification process of European cars, and Envision is practicing the concept of a "community with a shared future for mankind" and using Chinese new energy to contribute to global prosperity.
